Precision Gas Mixing
The touch screen interface lets users dial in a custom CO2-N2-air mixture on demand. A high-accuracy gas sensor module keeps both CO2 and O2 locked within ±0.1% of the setpoint, giving labs tight control over culture conditions for sensitive IVF applications.
Flexible Multi-Incubator Delivery
Rather than mixing gas for a single unit, the device stores mixed gas in a tank and delivers it at a controlled pressure of 0–2 barg (0–30 psig), adjustable via a front-mounted gauge. This makes it suitable for feeding multiple mini incubators or laminar flow cabinets simultaneously.
Scalable Output Models
The mixer comes in two sizes — 1.5 L/min and 15 L/min maximum output — pairing with correspondingly sized air compressors and mixing tanks (5L and 40L). Delivered flow automatically adjusts to match whatever equipment is connected, so labs can size the system to their throughput needs.
Automated Safety Backup
When paired with a premixed backup cylinder, the mixer automatically switches over if tank pressure drops too low, input gas pressure fails, or the target concentration can’t be achieved. This failsafe ensures incubators never lose access to properly conditioned gas, even during a fault condition.
Self-Maintaining Calibration
A CO2-O2-MODULE (included with purchase, factory-calibrated, 5-year lifespan) drives an automatic weekly self-calibration routine that corrects for sensor drift using a connected reference gas cylinder. Annual re-calibration can be done on-site or via Okolab’s OKO-CARE sensor replacement service — all without disconnecting or interrupting gas supply to incubators.
Remote Monitoring & VOC Filtration
Built-in wireless and ethernet connectivity power a remote data viewer with email alarm alerts, remote data access, and historical data tables/charts (mobile app coming soon). An optional VOC-IN-BYPASS module and VOC-FILTER add volatile organic compound filtration to the gas stream for further culture protection.
